There are a number of local stores in the town itself which provide general produce.
Sainsburys – (01335 347601) 5 minutes walk to town centre. At Nestle roundabout on the bypass go past Nestle, left at the mini roundabout you will see the store on the left there is plenty of parking.
Somerfields & The Co-Op (01335 342645) 2 minutes walk to town centre. From the Market Place follow one-way system at T-junction turn left. First left again into Car Park (opposite Park) here you will also find Boots the Chemist and main shopping area in town.
